That said, here are the steps to manually back up your Shopify store.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Shopify allows you to export your store data as CSV and save them on your local machine. However, you can\u2019t export all the data – just the ones Shopify deems relevant. And they are as follows:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also, you can\u2019t product categories and blog posts as CSV.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then click the Export <\/b>tab at the top bar. A popup dialogue box would appear once you do that.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Select \u201cAll products<\/b>\u201d, and then Export as \u201cCSV for Excel, Numbers, or other spreadsheet programs<\/b>\u201d. Click the Export products <\/b>button after that.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After exporting your CSV file and copying out other relevant data, the next thing you will want to do is organize them and keep them somewhere safe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As an additional step, you might want to create a backup for your store\u2019s theme. Thankfully, Shopify allows you to create a duplicate copy of your store\u2019s theme and reuse it whenever the need arises.\u00a0<\/p>\n
To download a copy of your store\u2019s theme, log in to your admin dashboard and click the Online Stores <\/b>tab on the left pane.\u00a0<\/p>\n
