Announcing Shopify Unite 2022

Shopify Unite is back, but this time it’s bigger, better, and will be much closer to you.

In case you don’t know, Shopify Unite is an annual meetup hosted by Shopify to bring developers and partners in the Shopify ecosystem together.

The goal?

To create a platform where ideas and knowledge can be shared and create room for deeper and more meaningful collaborations within the Shopify ecosystem.

Unlike previous Shopify Unite events, Unite 2022 will be held in several cities across Europe, North America, and Australia.

For Europe, the rendezvous is in London, UK. For North America, the event will be hosted in Toronto. And if you live in Australia, Shopify will meet you and your team in Melbourne.

Why you should plan to attend Shopify Unite 2022

eCommerce is an ever-evolving industry, so much so that you must be intentional about keeping up with emerging trends and technologies, or you could lose out.

Attending the Unite conference will afford you the opportunity to see where Shopify is headed, understand emerging trends, forge partnerships and get a peek into opportunities in eCommerce you can tap into.

What should you expect at the Shopify Unite 2022?

Updates to Shopify core features will be announced at Shopify Unite 2022. Moreover, changes in theme and app structure will also be made public during the event.

Who should attend Shopify Unite 2022?

Shopify Unite is specifically targeted at Shopify app and theme developers. Nonetheless, the event is also open to anyone interested in Shopify. But to partake in the event, you must have a Shopify partner account and complete certain setups.

Will the event be virtual or physical?

Shopify Unite 2022 will be largely physical, thanks to the relaxation of COVID regulatory rules in many countries. This is the first time Shopify will be hosting a physical event since the start of the COVID pandemic.

However, you can still tune in virtually from the comfort of your home, as Shopify has made room for that.

Is the event free?

No, it is not. Registration costs $200 CAD per person for those attending in Toronto. Late registration (after 26 September) will attract an extra fee of $50, totalling $250 CAD.

In London, tickets sell for £125 GBP and £157 GBP for late registration (29 August).

If you attend in Melbourne, tickets will cost you $225 AUD and $282 AUD for late registration (10 October).

Tickets are refundable.
